What somatic massage means here

Somatic means “of the body.” In Michael’s Somatic Release sessions, the work is slow and attentive: intuitive bodywork, myofascial release and subtle energy work.

Your pace, your say

  • You can pause or stop at any time

Somatic massage therapy and trauma

Some people search for “trauma release massage.” This session is bodywork, not therapy. If you are working through trauma, it can sit alongside care from a licensed mental health professional, never in place of it.
